AWS Cloud Account Authorization¶

AWS account types support two authentication methods.

Based on Access Keys¶

1. Select China region or International region as needed.
2. Enter the AWS primary account ID.
3. Input the Access Key and Secret Key from the AWS side.
4. Enter an account alias. This will be used for display in TrueWatch, and data collected from this account will automatically have this tag added.
5. Click the Test button. Creation can only proceed after the test passes.

Based on Role Authorization¶

1. Select Region: Choose China region or International region as needed.
2. Enter the AWS primary account ID.
3. Input the Access Key and Secret Key from the AWS side.
4. Enter the role name under this account.
5. Enter an account alias. This will be used for display in TrueWatch, and data collected from this account will automatically have this tag added.
6. Click Save. You can also click the Test button to verify the current cloud account information.
