Dashboard¶
The Guance dashboard is the core visualization workspace in the Use Cases module. It aggregates full-stack observability data—metrics, logs, traces, events, and more—into a unified view for business monitoring, data analysis, and troubleshooting. It supports the full lifecycle management from creation, editing, and permission control to collaboration and sharing.
Core Capabilities¶
Dashboards provide a range of core capabilities, including but not limited to:
1. Data Visualization
- Supports over 30 chart types, including time series charts, bar charts, topology maps, maps, and more, to meet diverse data visualization needs.
- For data queries, offers multiple methods such as Simple Query, DQL, PromQL, and external data sources, providing flexibility for both quick setup and fine-grained customization.
- Supports automatic real-time data refresh and historical time range switching, helping you keep track of the system’s real-time status and long-term trends.
2. Interactive Analysis
- With view variables, you can set global filter conditions at the top of the dashboard, enabling linked responses across multiple charts to quickly focus on key data.
- Chart links support click-to-drill-down, allowing you to jump from an overview chart to a detailed view, building a complete analysis path.
- The filter function lets you customize input conditions to synchronously filter all charts in the dashboard, enabling flexible multi-dimensional exploration.
3. Collaboration and Sharing
- Provides multi-level permission control, supporting three visibility settings: public, visible only to yourself, and custom scope.
- Sharing methods are flexible and diverse, including generating access links and cross-workspace authorization, meeting collaboration needs in different scenarios.
- The scheduled report function can automatically generate reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and distribute them via email, keeping your team up to date with key metrics.
