Network Devices¶
Network device monitoring helps you grasp the operational status of network infrastructure such as routers and switches in real-time. By automatically collecting device metrics via the SNMP protocol, you can view the health status of all network devices in a unified device list and quickly locate network faults.
View Device List¶
Go to Infrastructure > Network Devices to view all automatically discovered network devices.
The device list displays core information for each device, including device status, name, IP address, device type, number of interfaces, CPU usage, and other key metrics, helping you quickly understand the operational overview of the entire network infrastructure.
Device statuses include:
- Active: Last update ≤ 5 minutes, normal online.
- Suspect: Last update between 5~10 minutes, suspected fault, possibly due to delayed device information.
- Offline: Last update > 10 minutes, offline.
Quick Operations¶
- Search: Enter the device name or IP address in the search box to quickly locate the target device.
- Filter: Filter by device name, IP, type, and uptime.
- One-click filter to show only active devices in the list.
- Sort: Click the list header to sort by any field in ascending or descending order.
View Device Details¶
Click the device name in the list to enter the device details page and view more detailed monitoring information.
Device Information¶
Displays basic information about the current device:
- Uptime: The duration the device has been running continuously.
- Vendor ID: The device manufacturer's OID.
- Average CPU Usage: CPU usage percentage.
- Average Memory Usage: Memory usage percentage.
- Number of Interfaces: Total number of network interfaces on the device.
Also includes:
- Device Description: Displays the complete description of the device, including manufacturer, model, software version, etc.
- Extended Attributes: Displays all tags and metadata information of the device, supports searching by field name or value, facilitating the viewing of technical details of the device.
Interface Information¶
Displays the real-time status and traffic statistics of all network interfaces on the device:
- Interface Status Overview: Total number of interfaces and distribution statistics for Up/Down/Admin Down states.
- Interface List: Displays each interface's name, status, inbound traffic, outbound traffic, inbound error packets, outbound error packets, and bandwidth limit.
- Status Filter: Supports filtering by interface status (Up/Down/Admin Down) to quickly locate abnormal ports.
- Click the settings icon in the upper right corner of the page to configure monitors for interface metrics.
Performance Metrics¶
Displays various performance metric charts of the device in a dashboard format, including:
- Basic Metrics: CPU Usage, Mem Usage, Interface IfOperStatus, TCP CurrEstab, etc.
- Traffic Metrics: Inbound Throughput, Outbound Throughput, etc.
- Interface Network: Network traffic details for each interface.
- Interface Packet Loss and Errors: Statistics for dropped and error packets on each interface.
Supports switching time ranges via the time selector at the top, and also supports filtering data by IP or device hostname using filters.
