Workspace Management

In the TrueWatch Billing Center, one account can bind multiple TrueWatch workspaces. On Manage Workspace, you can view all workspaces bound to the account and modify the billing method of a bound workspace, including TrueWatch Billing Center Account, AWS Account, Alibaba Cloud Account, and Huawei Cloud Account (4 billing methods).

Note: The billing method of a workspace can only be changed once per month.

Change Billing Method

In the TrueWatch Billing Center, go to Manage Workspace, click Change Billing Method on the right to change the billing method for the current workspace.

Billing Center Account Settlement

The Billing Center Account is an independent account in the TrueWatch Billing Center dedicated to managing billing generated by using TrueWatch products. One Billing Center Account can be associated with billing for multiple workspaces.

For more details, refer to Billing Center Account Settlement.

Cloud Account Settlement

Cloud account settlement includes AWS Account Settlement, Alibaba Cloud Account Settlement, and Huawei Cloud Account Settlement.

Arbitrary Choice of Billing Method

By default, workspaces registered and logged in via the Alibaba Cloud Site can only select TrueWatch Billing Center Account and Alibaba Cloud Account as the billing method. Workspaces registered and logged in via the AWS Site can only select TrueWatch Billing Center Account and AWS Account as the billing method.

If you need to arbitrarily change the billing method, you must enable Arbitrary Choice of Billing Method. After enabling, all TrueWatch user workspaces can arbitrarily select TrueWatch Billing Center Account, Alibaba Cloud Account, AWS Account, and Huawei Cloud Account as the billing method.

Note: To enable Arbitrary Choice of Billing Method, you need to contact your TrueWatch account manager to make the change in the TrueWatch billing platform member management.

Workspace Lock

Lock

TrueWatch Commercial Plan workspaces settle fees by binding a TrueWatch Billing Center account or a cloud account.

If the billing center account falls into arrears or the cloud marketplace subscription becomes abnormal, the workspace will enter a 14-day lock countdown. After the countdown begins, the workspace will stop writing new data.

  • Within the 14-day countdown, you can dismiss the lock prompt and continue to view and analyze historical data in the original workspace. You can also unlock the lock status to restore normal use of the workspace.

  • If the lock is not lifted after 14 days, the workspace will be completely locked. At that point, you cannot enter the workspace or unlock it yourself. Please contact the account manager. You can also dissolve the workspace, switch to another unlocked workspace, or create a new workspace.

Workspace Lock Description
  • The TrueWatch Billing Center account settles according to the billing cycle. After the bill is generated, you will receive an email notification of the bill generation. If your account is in arrears, a 14-day settlement period will be provided simultaneously. As the 14-day period nears its end, a countdown email notification will be sent to you again. During the countdown, the workspace stops writing new data, but you can still view and analyze historical data. If the settlement is not completed after 14 days, the relevant workspace will be completely locked.

Unlock

Within the 14-day countdown, you can click Unlock Now on the workspace lock prompt page to jump to the Workspace Management page in the Billing Center without logging in. You can change the billing method for the current workspace, or click Billing Center in the upper left corner to go to the homepage and recharge your current account.

Note: After 14 days, the workspace will be completely locked and cannot be unlocked by yourself. Please contact the account manager.

Different Unlock Scenarios
  • After recharging an enterprise-verified account, the bill will be settled. After settlement, the relevant workspace will be unlocked.

  • For cloud account settlement, in Workspace Management > Change Billing Method, you can rebind a cloud account, resubscribe to the relevant cloud account, or choose the Billing Center for settlement. After the operation, the relevant workspace will be automatically unlocked.

Dissolve

Within the 14-day countdown or after the workspace is completely locked, you can click Dissolve on the workspace lock prompt page to manually delete the workspace. When dissolving the workspace, the Billing Center account will be unbound simultaneously. The workspace cannot be recovered after deletion, so proceed with caution.
