Workspace Management

In the TrueWatch Billing Center, one account can be bound to multiple TrueWatch workspaces. In Manage Workspaces, you can view all workspaces bound to the account and modify the settlement methods for bound workspaces, including TrueWatch Billing Center account, AWS account, Alibaba Cloud account, and Huawei Cloud account.

Note: The settlement method for a workspace can only be changed once a month.

Change Settlement Method

In the TrueWatch Billing Center Manage Workspaces, click Change Settlement Method on the right to change the settlement method for the current workspace.

Billing Center Account Settlement

The Billing Center account is an independent account in the TrueWatch Billing Center dedicated to managing billing related to the use of TrueWatch products. One Billing Center account can be associated with multiple workspace billings.

For more details, refer to Billing Center Account Settlement.

Cloud Account Settlement

Cloud account settlement includes AWS Account Settlement, Alibaba Cloud Account Settlement, and Huawei Cloud Account Settlement.

Arbitrary Settlement Method Change

By default, workspaces registered and logged in through the Alibaba Cloud site can only choose TrueWatch Billing Center account and Alibaba Cloud account settlement methods. Workspaces registered and logged in through the AWS site can only choose TrueWatch Billing Center account and AWS account settlement methods.

If you need to arbitrarily change the settlement method, you need to enable Arbitrary Settlement Method Selection. Once enabled, all TrueWatch user workspaces can arbitrarily choose TrueWatch Billing Center account, Alibaba Cloud account, AWS account, and Huawei Cloud account settlement methods.

Note: Enabling Arbitrary Settlement Method Selection requires contacting the TrueWatch customer manager to make changes in the TrueWatch billing platform member management.

Workspace Lock

Lock

TrueWatch Commercial Plan workspaces settle fees by binding to the TrueWatch Billing Center account or cloud account.

If the Billing Center account is overdue or there is an anomaly in the cloud market subscription, the workspace will be locked. TrueWatch provides a 14-day buffer period countdown. After 14 days, the workspace will be completely locked, and new data will stop being reported.

  • During the 14-day countdown, you can continue to view and analyze historical data, and you can unlock the workspace to continue using TrueWatch;

  • After the 14-day countdown ends, a workspace lock prompt will appear, and the workspace data will be cleared. If you still need to use TrueWatch products, you can choose to switch workspaces or directly click below to create a new workspace.

Workspace Lock Explanation
  • The TrueWatch Billing Center account is settled according to the billing cycle. After the bill is generated, you will receive an email notification of the bill generation. If your account is overdue, you will be provided with a 14-day settlement period. Near the end of the 14 days, you will receive another countdown email notification. If the bill is not settled after 14 days, the related workspaces will be locked.

Unlock

As mentioned above, on the workspace lock prompt page, click Unlock Now to jump to the Billing Center's Workspace Management page without logging in. You can change the settlement method for the current workspace or click Billing Center in the top left corner to enter the homepage and recharge the current account.

Different Unlock Scenarios
  • After recharging an enterprise-verified account, the bill will be settled. After settlement, the related workspaces will be unlocked;

  • For cloud account settlement, in Workspace Management > Change Settlement Method, you can rebind the cloud account, resubscribe to the related cloud account, or choose the Billing Center for settlement. After completing the operation, the related workspaces will be automatically unlocked.

Dissolve

During the 14-day buffer period countdown, you can manually delete the workspace by clicking Dissolve on the workspace lock prompt page. Once deleted, the workspace cannot be restored. Please proceed with caution.
