Billing

In Console > Billing, you can view the balance of the settlement account and usage statistics of billing items, and analyze costs from four aspects: bill details, monthly bills, usage, and data forwarding usage.

Plans

Offers Free Plan, Commercial Plan, and Deployment Plan.

  • Public Cloud: Free Plan and Commercial Plan. Both adopt a pay-as-you-go billing method, with no difference in core features, but the latter supports larger-scale data access and more flexible storage duration.

  • Deployment Plan: Community Edition (Free Plan) and Commercial Plan. The latter offers various billing methods such as pay-as-you-go, subscription, and license.

Settlement Account Overview

View the settlement account name, cash account balance, voucher balance, prepaid card balance, and set high consumption alerts for the account, or directly go to the Billing Center.

Set High Consumption Alert

  • Total Threshold Alert: Set an overall consumption threshold for the workspace, and send email alerts to members when the threshold is exceeded.

  • Single Billing Item Alert: Set alerts for individual billing items, and send email alerts when the daily bill amount exceeds the threshold.

  1. Fill in the total alert threshold;
  2. Select a billing item and enter the alert threshold;
  3. Select members to notify. Whether it's the total threshold or a single billing item, when the actual bill amount exceeds the set alert threshold, an email alert will be sent to the members;
  4. Confirm.
Note
  • Only Owner and Administrator can set high consumption alerts;
  • The Owner role is not restricted by the notification object selection and will receive email notifications when an alert is triggered.

Usage Statistics

View statistics of each billing item up to now and up to yesterday.

For billing items and pricing models, refer to Billing Plans.

Billing Item
Unit
Description
DataKit Count per day
Time Series per thousand / day Counts the number of tag combinations corresponding to all metrics in the metric data reported by DataKit on the day
Log Data Count per million / day Data generated by functions such as logs, events, security checks, and synthetic tests
Log Original Write Traffic per GB /day Size of the original log write traffic reported by users
Data Forwarded to Default Storage Capacity per GB / day Based on the current workspace data forwarded to the TrueWatch internal storage type, the forwarded traffic size is summarized, full data is counted, and billed according to the corresponding data
Data Forwarded to OSS/S3/OBS/Kafka per GB / day Based on the current workspace data forwarded to different external archive types, the forwarded traffic size is summarized, daily incremental data is counted, and billed according to the corresponding data
Trace Count per million Traces / day Counts the number of Traces in the reported trace data. Generally, if the trace_id in the Span data is the same, these Spans will be classified under one Trace
Profile Count per ten thousand Profiles / day Counts the number of application performance Profile data reported
Tracing Original Write Traffic
RUM PV Count per ten thousand PVs / day Counts the number of page views reported by user access, generally derived by counting the daily Resource, Long Task, Error, and Action data

Bill Details

Displays consumption data of each product from dimensions such as billing mode, usage, payable amount, and arrears, supporting monthly cost statistics.

Provides a one-click "Hide $0 Bills" feature, and allows exporting the bill details of the selected month or the last 12 months as a CSV file.

Monthly Bill

Displays total bill statistics on a monthly basis, covering monthly consumption total, cash consumption, cloud account consumption, voucher consumption, prepaid card consumption, arrears total, and other dimensions.

Supports a one-click "Hide $0 Bills" feature, and allows exporting the bill details of the selected month or the last 12 months as a CSV file.

Usage Analysis

Visually displays the usage of each billing item through a line chart.

Data Forwarding Usage Analysis

Displays the forwarding count of all data forwarding rules in the workspace, supporting statistics viewing by today, yesterday, this week, last week, this month, last month, this year, and other time dimensions.

Note
  • If the forwarding rule is saved to the backup logs of TrueWatch, the corresponding data retention policy is displayed, otherwise it is shown as -.
  • Only lists rules that exist and have a forwarding count > 0.

Billing Center

Workspace Role Differences
  • Owner: Has the Billing Center button;
  • Administrator: Does not have the above button;
  • Other Members: Do not have access to the Billing module.

TrueWatch adopts two independently operated but statistically related account systems for the Commercial Plan, achieving usage billing and fee settlement:

  • Console Account: Counts the data access scale and bill details of the workspace, and synchronizes to the specified Billing Center account.
  • Billing Center Account: Bound via Workspace ID, enabling unified fee management at the workspace level, supporting multiple fee settlement methods.
