Explorer¶
When dealing with log data, quickly locating and analyzing key information is crucial. Custom Explorers allow you to create personalized log viewing tools based on your needs.
- Multiple custom chart display settings
- Custom quick filter fields
- Custom list default display columns
- Bind and view associated built-in views
Create¶
You can create an Explorer in three ways:
Directly create a Blank Explorer
Import a Custom Template
Select an Explorer from the Built-in Template Library
Blank Explorer¶
- Define the name of the current Explorer.
- Enter a description for the Explorer as needed.
- Select Labels for easy grouping and management.
- Choose the data type for the current Explorer, including Logs, APM, RUM, Profile.
- Select the Visibility Range for the current Explorer.
- Click OK to create successfully.
Visibility Range¶
The visibility range of the Explorer includes:
- Public: Open to all members in the workspace.
- Private: Only visible to the creator.
Note
Non-public Explorers shared via links are not visible to non-creators.
Custom Template¶
- Define the name of the current Explorer.
- Enter a description for the Explorer as needed.
- Upload a custom JSON file.
- Select Labels for easy grouping and management.
- Select the Visibility Range for the current Explorer.
- Click OK to create successfully.
Built-in Template Library¶
- The Explorer name defaults to the selected view name, which can be changed as needed.
- Enter a description for the Explorer as needed.
- Select Labels for easy grouping and management.
- Select the Visibility Range for the current Explorer.
- Click OK to create successfully.
