Data Collection¶

Introduction¶

TrueWatch supports reporting the process and results of built-in CI in Gitlab/Jenkins to TrueWatch for visualization. You can install DataKit and enable the Gitlab/Jenkins collector to report the results generated during the entire CI process (such as Build, Test, Deploy) to DataKit, then process through the DataWay data gateway before being reported to TrueWatch for viewing and analysis.

Prerequisites¶

You need to create a TrueWatch account, and install DataKit on your host machine.

Data Collection¶

After installing DataKit, you can enable the Gitlab/Jenkins collector in the DataKit installation directory. Once DataKit is restarted, you can obtain CI-related data.
