SLS Logstore Index Binding

Select SLS Logstore. TrueWatch supports two authorization methods: RAM Sub-account Authorization and Third-party Quick Authorization:

RAM Sub-account Authorization

Account Authorization:

  1. Obtain SLS Authorization File.
  2. Fill in AccessKey ID / AccessKey Secret (AK / AKS).

Resource Authorization:

  1. Select the region;
  2. Based on the AK / AKS filled above, TrueWatch automatically retrieves the Project and Logstore.
  3. TrueWatch Index: By default, it matches the name of the Logstore, but you can also customize the name.
    • Note: This index name is unrelated to SLS and is used for data filtering in TrueWatch later.
  4. Access Type: To avoid configuration path errors and data retrieval issues, choose Intranet Access or Public Network Access based on the actual situation.

Field Mapping.

Click Confirm to complete the index binding. You can view it by switching the index in the Explorer.

For Commercial Plan and Exclusive Plan
  • If you are a TrueWatch Commercial Plan user, you can refer to the document RAM Account Authorization to obtain AK / AKS for index binding;
  • If you are a TrueWatch Exclusive Plan user, you can directly use the AK / AKS obtained when activating the Exclusive Plan for index binding. For how to activate the Exclusive Plan, refer to Activate TrueWatch Exclusive Plan on Alibaba Cloud Market;
  • If you are a TrueWatch Exclusive Plan user and wish to bind SLS log indexes under other Alibaba Cloud accounts, refer to RAM Account Authorization to obtain AK / AKS for index binding.

Third-party Quick Authorization

Note: This feature is not supported in Hong Kong and international sites.

Account Authorization:

Click "Go Now" to jump to Alibaba Cloud, log in, and perform the authorization operation.

Click Authorize, and a Service Provider UID Verification window will pop up. You can view the UID by clicking Service Provider Permission Description Page. Enter the UID and click Confirm, then automatically jump to Alibaba Cloud Market > Purchased Services, where the authorization is completed.

Resource Authorization:

  1. After authorization, fill in your Alibaba Cloud account ID. After filling, TrueWatch will automatically retrieve the Project and Logstore.

  2. TrueWatch Index: By default, it matches the name of the Logstore, but you can also customize the name.

    • Note: This index name is unrelated to SLS and is used for data filtering in TrueWatch later.

Note

  1. Cross-account role authorization requires using the Alibaba Cloud main account or a sub-account with RAM access control permissions such as GetRole, GetPolicy, CreatePolicy, CreatePolicyVersion, CreateRole, UpdateRole, AttachPolicyToRole;

  2. During verification, if a sub-account is being verified, it will automatically locate the main account to which the sub-account belongs and retrieve the Project and Logstore under the main account.
