Alibaba Cloud Account Billing

This allows direct billing through an Alibaba Cloud account. One Alibaba Cloud account can be associated with multiple workspaces and multiple sites for billing purposes.

Choosing During First Purchase of TrueWatch Commercial Plan

  1. Enter the registration process;
  2. In the third step, when selecting the activation method, choose Activate via Alibaba Cloud Market;
  3. Enter the workspace name and select the workspace language;
  4. Fill in the account ID and product instance ID;
  5. Agree to the terms;
  6. Click Activate.

At this step, the system will simultaneously create a Billing Center account for you. Subsequently, you can log in to the Billing Center platform using the account and password used during registration (i.e., the username/password used in the first step of registering the TrueWatch account) to view billing details and other information.

Activating via Alibaba Cloud Market

Log in to the Alibaba Cloud Xinsuan Platform and click Activate Now.

A prompt to Activate Pay-as-You-Go Service will appear. Agree to the terms and click Activate.

A message will display Activation Request Submitted.

Click Confirm to be redirected to the Cloud Market page, where you can view the activated TrueWatch instance.

Click Activate Now.

Changing Billing in the Billing Center Platform

  1. Log in to the TrueWatch Billing Center;
  2. Enter Workspace Management;
  3. Select the workspace and click the Change button on the right;
  4. Choose Alibaba Cloud Account Billing;
  5. First, Go to Alibaba Cloud to Activate the TrueWatch service;
  6. After purchasing, obtain the Account ID and Product Instance ID;
  7. Click Confirm.

How to Obtain Account ID

Alibaba Cloud Main Account

Log in to Alibaba Cloud with the main account, enter the Alibaba Cloud Console, click the account avatar in the top right corner, and you will find the account ID.

How to Obtain Product Instance ID

After TrueWatch confirms the activation request on the Alibaba Cloud Xinsuan Platform, you will be redirected to the list of purchased services on Alibaba Cloud. Under the purchased TrueWatch service, you can view the Instance ID. Copy this Instance ID and enter it into the Product Instance ID field in the Change Billing Method dialog.

Unsubscribing from TrueWatch on Alibaba Cloud

  1. In the Alibaba Cloud Console, click Cloud Market > Purchased Services;
  2. Under Purchased Services, you can view the activated TrueWatch instance. Click the Close button in the top right corner of this instance;
  3. In the Business Closure dialog that appears, click Confirm. After that, you will see that the instance is in the Closed state, indicating that you have unsubscribed from TrueWatch on Alibaba Cloud.

Note: After unsubscribing from the TrueWatch service, the TrueWatch Billing Center will disassociate all workspaces linked to this account and switch to the Billing Center account billing method. You will also receive an email notification about this change.
