Topology¶
Enter Infrastructure > NETWORK > Topology to view the distribution of upstream and downstream network. Taking hosts as an example, you can visually query the network traffic between hosts in the current workspace, and quickly analyze TCP latency, fluctuations, retransmission counts, connection attempts, and closure counts.
Manage Topology¶
You can manage network topology through the following operations:
-
Time Widget: By default, data from the last 48 hours is retrieved and must be manually refreshed;
-
Search and Filter: You can quickly perform a fuzzy match search for host names based on keywords, or display host nodes and their relationships based on filtered tags;
-
Fill: Customize the filling of host nodes by selecting various TCP metrics as the basis for filling;
-
Host Nodes:
- Icons distinguish regular hosts from cloud hosts
- Node edge colors reflect the values of the filled fields
- Bidirectional curved lines indicate traffic direction between hosts
- Node size and line thickness reflect the volume of traffic data
-
Custom Ranges: When enabled, custom color ranges can be set for filled metrics; connections and nodes outside these ranges are grayed out;
Note
If the target host is not in the current workspace but the target domain exists and the port number is less than 10,000, the domain will be displayed on the topology map.
Correlation Analysis¶
By clicking a node, you can choose to view its upstream and downstream associations or jump to related details, logs, traces, and events pages for further inspection.
Click the Back to Overview button in the upper left corner to return to the Network Map. Use search or filtering to display matching upstream and downstream nodes.
